Good leading

The leading notes are great, I also like the double notes. But the supporting chords need someting more I guess...

I sounds more like the beginning of summer ;) It makes me joyfull!

I like the calm athmosphere, it's relaxing. Maybe it would be better with a longer track, but you didn't wanted to lengthen it, did you?

I like it, it's relaxing, I love the "background" tracks. Keep it simple like that.

The maracas are a little too much, but that is just my opinion.

Not bad

I like the fact that many tracks are mixed together, some are not so good, others are really great. The fact that there is no real lead is a little sad, but it's just a personnal taste.
Just one more thing : The beat that follow from the start to 3:20 is to repetitive, i think you need to change it a little bit sometimes.

I just want to know what kind of "personnal rules" you broke to make this song?

That repetitive beat is exactly the kind of personal rule I broke. I normally avoid having the same beat be dominate for more than four loops. If you listen to a lot of pieces that don't have lyrics, there is usually some audible change after a pattern repeats four times. I know there was no real leading sound, because honestly, I'm terrible at making those. When I do, I just lose control of the song...

A good begin, but...

From the start it looked promising, but after the 30 first seconds, you need to put some more melody and let go your trance beat.

In general, it was so-so. But I really think you can make something great after the 30 first seconds if you work on it.

The piano melody is really pretty, the middle is astonishing.

4-5 months you say? I'm not an expert, but this song is really beautiful, keep on making music!

Hmmm...

I don't know how to say this, the beat is a little too present, the melody reapeat from the begenning is not really on the right notes, but that's just me I guess. It could be more threatening than this.

So yeah, a 6, but like I said, not really my type of music.

I thank you, and I see what you mean, because of the extra notes I put in the beginning.
There were only simple notes in the original song, due to its dark atmospheric nature.

listening to it on repaet for an hour makes it not that bad ;]

im considering getting out of my comfort zone a bit and perhaps try a bit more textbook 8bit for a change, dont know when tho, perhaps soon.
